Asked why the living civil servants couldn't take the bus, PM Mango said that there are no public buses going out to the WCE government building. "Most Wuxi Expats prefer to do their business via telephone anyway." said PM Mango.
Asked why there was no public transit to the WCE government building, and why civil servants were banned from driving cars to get there, PM Mango said that since the WCE government didn't have the true checks and balances of a constitutional republic yet, it was thought prudent to slow the machinery of bureaucracy and legislation down by making it hard for anyone to get to the government building. "Nothing focuses the mind and clears it of ephemeral panic like a nice long commute to the legislature and/or government office." said PM Mango.
PM Mango denied vehemently that the bicycle purchase was a sop to the Green movement. "Silly Willies! In fact it shows the world the silliness of their policies. Their would-be regulators cannot make environmental rules because they are too busy bicycling to get to their office." said PM Mango
Asked if the general public had been inconvenienced by seeming lack of access to government services, PM Mango said "Darling! Wuxi Expats are the happiest people in all the world now. To have an all-living bureaucracy, as well as easy access to government services would mean a return to the melted marshmallow and chocolate tyranny of the former King of Wuxi. No person of good will and basic humanity wants that!"
