Wuxi China Expatdom Blog Announces Its Six Nominees for 2012 Wuxi Expat of the Year Award


The WCE Blog has announced its nominees for the coveted Wuxi Expat of the Year award.

The Nominees for the award, to be announced at a grand gala to be held on January 1, 2012 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion of Gambay's Pub, are:
  • Archduke Sir Harry Moore
  • The Crew of the Zhanshen Six Mission to the planet Mars:   Martian module pilot  Gregory Peck; the Command module pilot Lloyd Bridges; Martian Cruiser driver Harry Callahan;  Chief Engineer Fred Minkleman; and the Zhanshen Six Commander Archduke Sir Harry Moore and his wife Miss Moneypenny.
  • Owner of the Chestnut, Walnut, and Pink Kitty Pubs:  Wally Droop
  • Wussie Expatdom Blogger Andrew Cowlinch a.k.a. "Wussie Andrew"
  • Andrew Cowlinch's son Bam-Bam, star of the popular blog Bam Bam Cowlinch in China
  • Commander of the Royal Wuxi Fire Brigade:  Marcus Linius Crassus

With the nomination announcement, Archduke Sir Harry Moore makes history again. By garnering 1.1666 nominations, the Archduke has become the first Wuxi Expat to ever get more than one nomination in a year for World Expatdom's most prestigious award.
