Gambay's Pub, the original Wuxi Expat Pub and the only Wuxi Expat Pub to offer One RMB Buffalo Chicken Wings, will be giving away an aircraft carrier on New Year's Eve.
Gambay's Co-Manager Frank Minkleman tells the WCE Blog: "This Amphibious Aircraft Carrier will come equipped with all the latest do-dads like Wifi connection, sun-roof, white paper background for comfortable e-book reading, customizable decktop colouring, a control panel that you can give oral instructions to, and easy interface with android or IOS operating systems. Below the deck, which has room to accommodate 1,000 jet fighters, there are three shopping malls, a 18 hole PGA Golf course, a 50,000 seat baseball stadium, a desert, and a freshwater lake fully stocked with fish."
Minkleman says the pub was able to buy the aircraft carrier at a local military surplus outlet. "Apparently, the Wuxi China Expatdom Royal Navy only needed 95 aircraft carriers and 97 were produced!"
But a chance to win an aircraft carrier is not the only reason to come to Gambay's on New Year's Eve,r says Minkleman whose brother Fred is currently on the planet Mars. "Anyone who comes our New Year's Eve Party on December 31st, tickets 1000 rmb, will have their name entered into a draw to win which will include other prizes like a skyscraper, a Saturn V-6 rocket, a Merkava Main Battle Tank, autographed copies of the Poolside Harry Moore and Zhanshen Six Official Memorabilia.
