Wuxi China Expatdom elects a new omsbudman

In a parliamentary vote, that went along party lines, Juris Jansons, was elected to head the Wuxi China Expatdom Ombudsman's Office.  The vote was 65-55 with all opposition parties voting against Jansons.

Said official opposition leader Iggy Poop, "I don't see why we need a Ombudsman.  Gorzo is infallible.  And so the office would be a waste of money!  The Ombudsman is simply a preposterous patronage position, if you ask me!"

Prime Minister Mango, smiling demurely, defended the appointment "There could nothing more inhuman that to assume that human institutions are infallible.  Gorzo, it goes without saying, is a perfect being.  But he has given us the freedom to make mistakes and learn from them.  So, of course we need an Ombudsman.  Iggy Poo Poo Pants is just being a big silly willy!"

    Is it possible that, as the Expatdom continues
    to grow and prosper, that it might expand into
    other directions?

    That is, could there one day be a University of the Wuxi Expatdom? And, perhaps, establishing an
    international airline?
