Danish Tourists flock to Wuxi, China Expatdom despite Hans Island Spat

Danish visitor numbers are up 27% to a record 8.6m this month despite a diplomatic dispute with the Wuxi, China Expatdom as the Expatdom has sided with Canada in the dispute over Hans Island.

Said Dave Schultz, the Expatdom's tourism officer: "I think many Danes know deep in their heart of hearts that the Island is Canadian territory; and that Hans Islanders would have more freedom and would retain their basic human rights if they were Canadian citizens."
